Fantasy - The paper shelter

 Morning all!

Another week, another challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and this week we have a fun theme for you, which is fantasy!

There are oh so many fantasy images on The Paper Shelter's website, but eventually I settled on the Newborn Baby Dragon digi for my card.

Isn't he the cutest? I thought he made a great birthday card for a youngster, and I even found some bling that looks a bit like a dragon scale if you squint a little, lol.

So now it's your turn! Come and play with us over at The Paper Shelter, and you could win an amazing $30 gift voucher if you use an image from The Paper Shelter. And if you enter with a different brand image, you can still win three TPS digis of your choice (which you can then use to enter the next challenge, and so be eligible for the $30 voucher!).

Hope you have a fantabulous day!

Halloween - Sweet Stampin'

 Good morning all,

It's that time of year again, and time for the Hallowe'en challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.

For my card, I had a lot of fun playing with last year's Tim Holtz supplies...

The text stamps were perfect for adding a little interest to the background, and I just love, love, love that skull! (In fact, I've just now had an idea for a Marvel-related card... Must dig out my red Promarkers! ;) )

Now it's your turn. Come share your spooky (or spooky-cute) makes with us over at Sweet Stampin', we'd love to see them!

Have a fantabulous day,

alter it! - The Paper Shelter

 Morning all!

This week's challenge is a fun one. We're looking for you to take an image and alter it in some way. for my card, I decided to take the funky Cool Skater, and crop the image, so as just to have the girl looking over her shoulder to make a very CAS card.

The light wasn't great when I took the picture, but the card is a lovely turquoise, and I coloured her to match, then added a sentiment to finish the card. It's not often I go this CAS (to be honest, white space scares me, lol!), but it's good to go outside your comfort zone from time to time, I think.

Buttons and/or bows - The Paper Shelter

 Morning all!

Yep, time again for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and I for one really enjoyed this week's theme of buttons and/or bows.

Because Christmas is approaching rather faster than I'd like, I used the fab It's Cold Out There for my card, along with some pretty Maja Design papers, and a handful of embellishments in complementary colours (if you look carefully, there's a button on the tulle flower!). I really love blue/white/kraft as a colour combination, especially for Christmas!

Christmas in September - Sweet Stampin'

 Morning all,

Yes, it's that time again. the time were some of us (ok, definitely me, don't know about you guys...) look at their stack of cards ready for Christmas and realise that instead of the towering stack we were expecting, there are only two... Oops!

So if you're anything like me and would like to do something about that, this week's challenge over at Sweet Stampin' is for you, as the theme is Christmas in September!

For my card I used a digi from The Paper Shelter and some papers that came as a magazine freebie about a decade ago (when I still got magazines, lol) and had some fun matching and layering.

Over to you guys!

Have a fantabulous weekend!

New challenge time over at The Paper Shelter, and this week the theme is waterwise. So come along and share your seaside, river, rainy day creations with us! :)

I decided to play with Fun over the Waves for this one, because it looks like she's having so much fun!

I'm rather jealous of her actually!

Autumn Colours - The Paper Shelter

 Morning all,

It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and this time we're looking for your creations featuring autumn colours. I always love this theme, because I love working with those colours!

I chose the lovely Autumn Breeze and paired her with some autumnal papers. some die-cut leaves and a sentiment finished off the card.
