CAS Christmas

Hi all,

Don't forget to enter my candy here. The draw is in less than 24 hours!

Just popping in quickly to share one of the CAS Christmas cards I made. This one's probably my favourite...

It's another James, of course, using the older "pile of presents" stamp. I've coloured him lighter than I normally do again, and I love how he turned out! Naturally, I included the obligatory Stickles on his hat!
The sentiment was a magazine freebie, and this time went where I told it to! lol.

In other news, the school fair was a bit of a disaster. It was really quiet, and I was tucked away upstairs, and in the end managed to sell just the one card. I fared better than the ladies on the stall next to me, who paid £20 for their tables and didn't make that back either. (I only paid 5, as I wasn't selling food, and therefore it was cheaper)
My daughter ended up getting 4!!! free hotdogs, as they had so many left over they were giving them away in the end.
Oh well, I'll know not to bother next time! Guess I shall just have to give them to the charity shop instead. I'm just sorry I couldn't make more money for Make-a-Wish :-(

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

One stitch at a time - Seeing red
CAS on Sunday - Christmas
Penny Black and more - December challenge
Stamping sensations - Free and easy
Stampin' for the weekend - Use some red
C.R.A.F.T challenge - Christmas
Paper pretties - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Hope you're all having a fantastic day!

Sammy-x

Sorry the fair didn't go better - they keep asking me about having a stall at our school fair, but it's £15 for a table, and I doubt it'd be very successful! Love your card hun, James is so sweet :o) Hugs, Lisa x

What an adorable Christmas card Sammy, I love the gentle colouring of the cutest of bears. Mmmm, yes, perhaps it is "beginning to feel a lot like Christmas" now that I've had the pleasure of seeing this lovely card. So sorry to hear about the poor support you received for your wonderful cause at the school fair. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx ( OSAAT Team )
