The challenge called for using new or neglected stash along with the sketch, and I used my Papermania bookprint paperpad. It was one of the first ever crafty things I bought when I started card making last year, and I still have most of it! My excuse (as always) is that it's just too pretty to use! lol.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenge:

I am probably showing my age but sorry I don't get it but I am certain that my Grandson's would as it looks related to Star Wars to me, but I am probably wrong.
Great card and image.

Hehe... I've made quite a few Star Wars cards so far, but this particular one is Firefly/Serenity. The tagline from the film was "Can't stop the signal", the image is a picture of the ship (Serenity) and the Chinese symbols are a reference to the fact that there's a huge Chinese influence in the show and film :-) The colours of the card are also reflected in the opening credits/official imagery of the show.
My brother will get it, as he's a huge fan, but I was certainly curious to see if anyone else would! :-)
G'day Sammy
thanks for dropping by my blog. Yes I am a steampunk jewellery nut LOL. I did paper crafts since 1990 including cards, to mixed media and beyond but my current true love is making wacky steampunk hand made jewellery :o). Ignore hubby and buy that diue cutter

Too clever Sammy, this is awesome! I <3 this big time, from one Firefly/Serenity fab to another. They stopped shooting way too soon! Big hugs, Wends x
