Dance - Sweet Stampin'

Morning all!

Yup, new challenge time at Sweet Stampin', and we're celebrating the international day of dance this week, so we're looking for your dance themed creations.

A perfect excuse for me to use this fab LotV stamp, which I'd had for aaaaages, but had never seen ink yet!

The papers and sentiment are both LotV too, of course.

I have to admit to the rather unpopular opinion of not personally being a fan of the flapper or art deco looks of the '20s - just not my preferred aesthetic - but I do love the tails, and I'm a sucker for a gramophone, lol.

Anyways, over to you guys. I hope you can find something dance-themed to play along with us with (but if not, don't worry. we will accept anything goes entries too), looking forward to seeing the entries this week!

Have a most fantabulous weekend!

Get ready for Easter/Spring - Sweet Stampin'

Morning all,

This week we're asking you to get ready for Easter or Spring over at Sweet Stampin'.

As I don't really celebrate Easter and have no-one to send Easter cards to, I decided to go with the spring option, and what says spring more than flowers, right?

Of course, roses aren't exactly a spring flower (or so I've been told... My thumbs tend to be every colour but green!), but the sweetheart blossoms look like they belong on a tree in springtime, no?

The pretty papers and image are from Lemoncraft, and the sentiment is LotV.

Well, that's mine, but don't forget to go see what my fellow Sweeties have been up to over on the blog. And of course, we'd love to have you play along with us!

Have a fantabulous weekend!

April challenge - Altered Eclectics

Morning all,

I can't believe it's April already. I'm sure some joker got up in the middle of the night and ripped a heap of pages out of the calendar... It's the only explanation, lol.

But I guess if it really is the first of another month, I'd better be getting on with showing you what I prepared for the Altered Eclectics challenge this month.

I took a Kraft covered notebook, some gorgeous Ciao Bella papers and elements and a super pretty digi stamp from Ching-chou kuik I'd been wanting to play with for aaaaages, and made myself a book journal.

I'm absolutely loving the vintage look, and the rusty grunginess of it. Whether or not I can actually bring myself to write in it is a whole other matter!

Now it's over to you! Please take a peek at what my fellow teamies have prepared for you, and don't forget to share your makes with us this month!

Have a fantabulous day!
