Time for another new challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and the theme this week is one parents everywhere count down the days to... Back to school
My son finished his A-levels, got the spectacular results he needed, and should have gone on to study computer science at Leeds uni this year, but there was a system glitch with UCAS, and by the time we could even speak to someone about it, his course was already full up (it's one of the top 10 in the country, so places went super fast!). so he's got an extra year to wait, and in the meantime is going to do a 1-year engineering course at a local college, to keep him busy and keep the ball rolling academically. After almost 2 years of no schooling, it'll probably be better this way as it'll get him used to structured learning again before starting uni! (unfortunately my son's school was one of the ones that failed utterly to provide anything besides attendance taking with the online learning during the pandemic. He did it all himself, with a handful of sessions with a paid online tutor for maths, but I suspect that won't stop the school taking credit for his As!
Oof, sorry, that was a little bit of a digression there, but suffice to say, we're all looking forward to back to school time!
To celebrate, I decided to play with The Enchanted Professor, which was one of the first digis that caught my eye when I discovered The Paper Shelter. But then, any digi with a book in it is going to get my vote! lol.
I located some school-themed paper too, which I thought matched up rather nicely, and allowed me to play with a pretty teal colour-scheme.
