It's time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin', and this week our theme is paper piecing!

it's such a fun thing to do, and I find Woodware do soooo many stamps that are just perfect for it. this seemed like a good opportunity to make "one for the gents"...

Simple, yet effective!

So now it's over to you guys. come share your paper-pieced creations with us, and don't forget to go take a peek at what my fellow Sweeties have been up to!

Have a fantabulous weekend!

Punches and dies - The Paper Shelter

 Good morning everyone,

Our summer break is over, and it's time for a brand new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. This week we're looking for creations featuring punches and dies.

I decided to use the fab Cheerleader digi, and four different dies to make this card:

So now it's your turn! Come and play with us over at The Paper Shelter, and you could win an amazing $30 gift voucher if you use an image from The Paper Shelter. And if you enter with a different brand image, you can still win three TPS digis of your choice (which you can then use to enter the next challenge, and so be eligible for the $30 voucher!).

Hope you have a fantabulous day!

Favourite colour combo - Sweet Stampin'

 Good morning all!

New challenge time at Sweet Stampin', and this week we're asking you to use your favourite colour combo.

There are several I am very fond of, but I do love a combination of greens and purples!

I decided to keep the card relatively simple, to let the adorable image (Kitty Acrobatics by The Paper Shelter) and the pretty colours do all the talking.

I hope you'll come and play with us this week... I wonder what pretty colour combinations we'll see!

Have a fantabulous day!

Anniversaries - Sweet Stampin'

Good morning folks, time for another challenge over at Sweet Stampin' today, and this week we're looking to celebrate anniversaries.

I decided to take the opportunity to make an anniversary card for hubby, and him being an engineer and electronics nut, I ordered this fab stencil from Heffy Doodle to use on his card.

I started by inking the panel with green/yellow/brown Distress inks, then sponged embossing ink through the stencil and added aged silver Frantage embossing enamel and heat-set it. I went for the Frantage, rather than regular silver embossing powder, so as to get a grungy look. I then stamped the sentiment in the middle, et voila!

Now it's your turn! Please do come and share your anniversary makes with us!

Have an awesome weekend!
