A Christmas Card - The Paper Shelter

 Morning all,

New challenge time over at The Paper Shelter, and this week we're getting ready for Christmas! so dig out your Santas and snowmen, and make A Christmas Card to share with us!

I decided to play with the super cute I wonder what this is for my card, and matched it with some festive papers.

This digi does make me chuckle. I've started wrapping Christmas pressies as they're coming in, and earlier I caught my daughter nosing through the box of wrapped presents to see which ones were for her. She may be almost 22, but some things don't change! :D

Bookmark - The Paper Shelter

 Morning all!

New challenge time over at The Paper Shelter, and this week we're looking for bookmarks!

Now I pretty much always have my nose in a book (and if my hands are full, I'll have an audio book playing instead!), so bookmarks are essential for me.

I decided to play with the fab Pastel Goth for this one, and got messy with my Distress Inks!

I thought she was the perfect kind of image to use for this kind of thing, as it's not a very wide one, which leaves plenty of space for a funky sentiment!

Use red - Sweet Stampin'

 Morning all!

There's a new challenge starting at Sweet Stampin', and this week we're asking you to use red on your creations.

I thought that was a great excuse to get started on my Christmas cards!

I had loads of fun stamping, colouring and fussy-cutting the carriages to make a toy train for Santa! I also really love the striped ribbon, which has a permanent home in my Christmas crafts box, as it's perfect for using on festive cards!

It was also rather fun to make a DL card, which is something I never do. It's so easy to fall into making the same size/shape over and over again, so doing something different definitely helps keep things fun!
