It's once again time for me to schedule my DT card for the new MILKCOFFEE challenge. This newest challenge is, like so many others out there right now, Christmas themed. However, we want you to use non traditional colours on your Christmas cards! This means no red and green please!
As soon as I saw this stamp, I knew Madeline would be wearing a fur coat in a colour other than red. In fact, blue seemed a good choice to me!
I'd also just gotten some free Christmas papers with a magazine, which matched the colour I was thinking of perfectly.
I created the sentiment in word, used some Sizzix star and snowflake dies to add a little interest, and finished it off with some blue gems and "Sparkling snow" WOW powder on the snowflake.
Now I'm sure I'm not alone in being bored with the whole red and green thing, but a lot of us still have a heap of Christmas cards to make. So why not make some in non-christmassy colours (It wasn't until after I'd finished that I wished I'd done it in purple! Must make one of those soon...) and then come share it with us over on the MILKCOFFEE challenge?
Make sure you check out my fellow teamies gorgeous makes.
See you in a bit when I'm awake!
