Good morning peoples,
Time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and this week has such a versatile theme, namely, Flower Power.
Surprise, surprise, I opted to go the shabby chic route...
The image is called Grace, and she's so perfect for shabby cards. She's also available in The Chic Bundle, which is so worth getting! It was the first I bought, and I still count them among my favourite images. And so much fun to colour!
So now it's your turn! Come and play with us over at The Paper Shelter, and you could win an amazing $30 gift voucher if you use an image from The Paper Shelter. And if you enter with a different brand image, you can still win three TPS digis of your choice (which you can then use to enter the next challenge, and so be eligible for the $30 voucher!).
Hope you have a fantabulous day!

Anything but square - Sweet Stampin'
Morning all!
This week's challenge over at Sweet Stampin' is the always fun anything but square. I kinda need this challenge to come around every now and then, because I find it far too easy to just do the same square over and over, with maybe the occasional rectangle thrown in...
So this time I thought I'd go for something I haven't done in years and made a side-step card.
I combined the gorgeous Tulips digi from The Paper Shelter with some super cute Maya Design papers, added a sentiment and some die-cuts, and my card is ready for my mum's birthday! I didn't want to make it too fussy, so as not to detract from the sweet image, and because it will need to be posted, as the chances of us being allowed to visit family in Scotland any time soon are slim to none, I'm guessing.
I'm also working on a wee mini album with some recent pictures of the kids in for her, to make up for the fact she's not been able to see them in person yet this year.
Well, that's it from me, and I look forward to seeing what everyone makes for this challenge. hopefully it'll inspire me to not always be making square cards!
Have a fantabulous day!

Embellishments - The Paper Shelter
Good morning all!
This week's new challenge over at The Paper Shelter is one I always enjoy... We're looking for embellishments this week!
I decided to use the gorgeous She's Charming, and made this card:
The papers were some very old magazine freebies that I stumbled across, and I coloured her to match them with my Promarkers. For my embellishments I used ribbon, a silver dress charm and some die-cut hearts. And of course a few pearls to finish it off. I'm very pleased with how this one came out.
So now it's your turn! Come and play with us over at The Paper Shelter, and you could win an amazing $30 gift voucher if you use an image from The Paper Shelter. Humour - Sweet Stampin'
Morning all!
Ready for a new challenge? It's a funny one over at Sweet Stampin' this week, where our theme is humour.
I tend to struggle with this theme, but found inspiration this time in a set of stamps from AALL & Create, which definitely made me chuckle...
Aren't those fellas just adorable? And I found the sentiment pretty amusing too.
Over to you guys! Share some much needed smiles with us over on the blog this week, and don't forget to come and see what my fellow Sweeties have prepared too!
Have an awesomesauce weekend!
