No DP - Sweet stampin'

Afternoon all,

Apologies for the lateness of this week's Sweet Stampin' offering. I've spent all week thinking I was on a different day than I actually was (before you ask, yes, I was half-way to work on my day off before I realised, lol), and so I'm somewhat behind with this offering.

The new challenge this week is No Designer Paper, which made it a perfect excuse to break out the Distress inks and have a play with my new mixed media heavystock and stamps!

It's hard to tell from the photo, but there's a lot of gold accents that are so pretty and shimmery in real life. The card base is gold too! (look at me, using a non-white base twice in a row!)

Hope you'll come and play along with us this week!

Have a fantabulous weekend!

Love your background Sammy...and your card. Hope you found you were a day in front and not behind last week!

You can be as late as you want as long as you bring your stunning art work with you when you arrive! Sammy, this is really gorgeous! Your background is out of this world and so perfect for your image and sediment! (And, yes, I also walk around sometimes wearing the-wrong-day-of-the-week hat!!) Hugs, Darnell

I utterly LOVE this Sammy! That inky background is beyond gorgeous!! Could these be the new oxides? It has a dreamy chalky looking finish that I can't see Distress Inks creating, but if they did, kudos to you!! Love the sketchy image too. Just an altogether fabulous creation hun!! Hugs, Wends xoxo
