Antiques Roadshow - Sweet Stampin' DT

Good morning bloggaroos!

Saturday yet again. Which means tomorrow is Sunday. I am determined to get a lie-in for once. Yes. Must locate duct tape for kids... ;-)
Saturday also means a new challenge at Sweet Stampin', of course. And this week's theme is antiques Roadshow.  So, this theme means I shall show off my husband dig out an old stamp for your inspiration.

Now, as I've only just been stamping for 2 years now, my idea of "old" is probably a little different from some of you who have been at it a wee bit longer! But as LOTV were responsible for my first (and second, third, fiftieth, etc.) stamp, I figured that was the way to go.

And for good measure I included papers from my first ever paper pad too! (Docrafts "Wellington" papers)

This card made its way north for my baby brother's birthday. Can any of you guess what football team he supports? None of my fellow Sweeties managed to guess, so there's still a virtual cookie in it for whomever gets it right, lol.

Speaking of the Sweeties... Don't forget to go take a peek at all the gorgeous old stamps they've dug up for this challenge!

Have an awesomesauce weekend!

Sammy-x

I'll tray again Sammy, don't know what I did to the last comment, a great card for the lads, or even the girls if they are anything like me.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Brilliant card, Sammy - LotV stamps don't date, so you can look at them as an investment. That's my story and I'm sticking to it ;o) xx

Ooh I have lots of duct tape, shall I send you some for the kids lol?! Clearly none of us are football fans as I still don't have a clue! But I do know it's a fantastic card and well done you for getting in old papers too xx

Hmmm, LOTV stamps do have a way of sneakily building up don't they?! This is a really cute one and perfect for a male design; those papers look great with it :-)
I am not really a football fan but Dr. Hubby works for Liverpool FC so I have to be a supporter of them by default - lol! So, I would guess Liverpool as your brother's team to support but I'm sure that's too obvious and one of the Sweeties would have guessed that already!

If it's Liverpool do I get an extra point for saying that's Milner's shirt right there with the number 7?! To be fair, that should probably be Dr. Hubby getting the extra point anyway since he pointed that out!

Ok, too much waffling from me and not even about crafting - lol!

I hope you got your lie in :-)

Big hugs, Kat xx

Fabulous card, Sammy! Love that image but knowing absolutely nothing about football it just looks like an uber cute bear with a red shirt to me! (Hope the duct tape worked!!) :) xxx

Love the card. I'm sure he loves it. If those are american footballs I see, he loves either the Arizona Cardinals or the San Francisco 49'ers. Wonderful design layout and paper choices.

Love the hubby reference. Got a good chuckle out of that one. I often tell DW I am past the antique stage. LOL.

Hugs and Blessings
