something a little different...

Hi all,

Today's card is different from my usual for two reasons. First, I'm using a Nellie Snellen image (my first such in rubber!) and second, the card is mostly green! I often use green paired with pink, but this is very green for me!

There's also very little in the way of flowers, but there is a lot of sparkle! I have no idea who the paper is from, as I got it in a pack of random papers, but I can tell you the sentiment is from LOTV.
The paper is glittered, and I added Stickles to her skirt and the die-cut corner.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Craft-Dee Bowz - Anything goes with a handmade bow
Penny black and more - Make it sparkle

Hope you are all having a fantabulous day!

Sammy-x

Well I like your green card Sammy, even if it's not something you usually work with. The little gingham bow carries the green from the backing as does the little girls dress.

Thanks so much for joining in our Make it Sparkle theme at Penny Black and More challenge..

I love your colour combination Sammy. It didn't hit me as being too green and has lovely beige tones too. So pretty and girly.
Thank you for sharing your lovely card with us at Penny Black and More this month and we hope you will join us again soon.

I'm the same - I love green with pink but rarely use it on it's own! You've made a lovely job of this green card though and very pretty green embellies :-)
